Terms of Service
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Ferdi, an AI reel generation product (“Service”) operated by Ferdi (“Ferdi”, “we”, “us”), operated by Ferdi GmbH, based in Munich, Germany. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
Ferdi is offered to business customers only: you use it as an entrepreneur or on behalf of a business, not as a consumer. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
2. Free start
Every workspace gets one RoomTour and one post free of charge, once, without a payment card. Using the free start does not create a subscription and does not authorize a charge. While a free feedback launch is active, the Service is free of charge and nothing is billed.
RoomTours produced with the free start and without a paid plan come with the features of the Light plan.
3. Paid plans, payment and cancellation
The Service is offered to business customers only. Paid plans (currently “ferdi Light”, “ferdi Pro” and “ferdi Max”) are monthly subscriptions. Each plan includes a fixed number of RoomTours per billing period (Light 1, Pro 2, Max 4) and the features described for that plan on ferdi-app.com/pricing; the post to a finished RoomTour is included. One credit pays for one RoomTour or one separate post. The prices are listed on ferdi-app.com/pricing and are net prices. The Max plan can be booked more than once within one subscription (quantity); its RoomTours and price multiply accordingly.
Free trial. The Light and Pro plans can be tried free of charge for 30 days. Payment details are required to start the trial, and nothing is charged during it. During the trial you can use the RoomTours and features of the chosen plan; RoomTours not used by the end of the trial expire. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription continues as a paid monthly subscription at the end of the trial and the first payment is charged then. We remind you by e-mail three days before the trial ends. You can cancel during the trial at any time; nothing is charged and you can use the Service until the trial ends. During the trial you can switch between Light and Pro; the trial continues unchanged and RoomTours already used count against the new plan. Switching to Max ends the trial and Max is charged immediately. The free trial is available once per company. If a trial is started again for the same company or with a payment method that was already used for a trial, Ferdi may end that trial; the subscription then continues as a paid subscription. The Max plan has no free trial.
Payment is processed by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record and calculates and collects the applicable tax at checkout. A subscription starts only after you choose it and complete the checkout, and it renews each billing period until cancelled.
You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the paid billing period. Until then you can use your credits. Unused paid credits carry over while the subscription runs and expire when it ends. Credits of the free trial do not carry over.
An upgrade to a plan with more RoomTours takes effect immediately. The remaining period is charged pro rata and the additional credits are added pro rata. A downgrade takes effect from the next billing period. One plan change is possible per paid billing period; changes during the free trial follow the trial rules above.
Earlier plans. Subscriptions to the earlier plans “ferdi Basis” and “ferdi Pro” are moved to the current plans with effect from the start of a billing period. We announce the move, the new plan and its price in text form at least 6 weeks before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel the subscription before the move takes effect; otherwise the new plan applies from that date.
If a generation fails for technical reasons, its credit is returned. Payments are otherwise not refunded, except where the law requires it.
4. Content ownership
You retain all rights to the briefs, prompts, brand assets and source media you upload. You also retain rights to the reels Ferdi generates for you, subject to the music licensing terms below. You grant Ferdi a limited license to process this content solely to provide the Service to you.
5. Music licensing & FTC disclosures
Ferdi uses a licensed music catalog. Tracks are licensed for organic social use on the platforms Ferdi publishes to (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts). For paid promotion or commercial broadcast outside these platforms, contact us first. Ferdi auto-attaches FTC sponsorship disclosures when a brief indicates sponsored content and keeps an audit log of every asset used.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Ferdi to generate content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that impersonates a real person without consent. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
7. Service availability
Ferdi is provided on an “as available” basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ferdi’s total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
